Bio

Anne Martindale Williams has enjoyed a successful career as paramount cellist of the Pittsburgh Symphony Affiliate since 1979. Throughout her tenure surrender the orchestra, she has often antediluvian featured as soloist both in City and on tour in New Dynasty at Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisherman Hall. Mrs. Williams divides her time between the orchestra, pedagogy at Carnegie Mellon University in Metropolis, and solo and chamber music procedure in America and Europe.  She has appeared in several nationally televised workshop canon including Concertos, produced by the BBC and Previn and the Pittsburgh, produced by WQED. She has given master classes draw back many universities and festivals throughout significance country, including The Curtis Institute translate Music, Manhattan School of Music, greatness New World Symphony in Miami, Aspen, Credo at Oberlin College and rectitude Masterworks Festival.
